Samantha Smith (Landscaping Designer)

A landscape designer by profession who specializes in creating outdoor spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sustainable. I have been designing beautiful landscapes for over 15 years, focusing on creating an inviting atmosphere while also preserving the natural environment. My expertise lies in creating lush and vibrant gardens that are both inviting and low-maintenance, incorporating native plants to support local ecosystems, and using sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting and composting to reduce our environmental impact. My goal is always to create a space that is functional yet still aesthetically pleasing - something that will bring joy to its inhabitants for years to come. My Favorite Plant:  The Japanese Maple. Do I have a Garden At Home? Yes, I have a stunning backyard garden that is constantly changing and evolving as I experiment with different planting schemes and design elements. It's been my creative outlet ever since I was a child and I still enjoy spending time in it today. My Qualifications: I hold a BA in Landscape Design from the University of Minnesota and am certified by the National Association of Landscape Professionals. I'm also an active member of my local gardening club, where I share my knowledge and experience with aspiring landscape designers.
